Verb Ballets Announces 2021-22 Roster of Dancers


Verb Ballets has announced the 2021-22 roster of dancers. We welcome apprentices Isaac Hileman of Texas and Kia Jimmy of Canada. Cleveland School of the Arts graduate Demetrius Lee returns as a summer apprentice while he is attending Boston Conservatory. Local dancer Lily Cole, student of Inna Stabrova, joins as a trainee.

Deadline has reported that Kenneth Branagh and Lily Cole have been confirmed to join the cast of BBC's Shakespearean comedy Upstart Crow. Cole will be playing Ephie, and Branagh will be playing a mysterious stranger on the show's upcoming third series, which airs on Amazon. Christopher Hampton's 1969 take on Moliere's The Misanthrope is often played with actors older than their characters, but director Simon Callow has recruited some of TV's bright young things to play the solipsistic academics.
