 Uncle Philip's Coat, A Play for One Actor, has been described as an Historic Document, A Coat and a Performance. A funny and poignant piece written by Matty Selman, based on a story by Selman and Larry Block, Uncle Philip's Coat can be experienced at Theatre Row, The Studio Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036, as part of the United Solo Theatre Festival on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 9:00 pm.

The Hatmaker's Wife marks the first Playwrights Realm production at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street) in midtown Manhattan, following previous engagements in several downtown Off-Broadway venues. Previews begin tonight, August 27, for an opening Thursday, September 5.

On the April 9th episode of NBC's musical drama series SMASH entitled 'Understudy', the show has landed a star, the mercurial Rebecca Duvall (guest star Uma Thurman), but Eileen (Anjelica Huston) is thrown into a panic when Rebecca gets stuck in Cuba.

Running through February 26, Caroline, or Change will be performed in the Archbold Theatre at Syracuse Stage, 820 East Genesee Street.

Caroline, or Change features a book and lyrics by Tony Kushner and is directed by Marcela Lorca. The music is by Jeanine Tesori. The show is set to run through February 26, 2012.

Fern Kershon and Orange Thought Productions will present Heart of the City, a new play by Eric Lane, directed by Martha Banta, featuring Eliza Foss, Scott Kerns, Marcia Jean Kurtz, Martin LaPlatney, Melissa Miller and Mark Setlock. Performances will begin Thursday June 11th at the Theatre at 30th Street, for a limited engagement.

Fern Kershon and Orange Thought Productions today announced that Eliza Foss, Scott Kerns, Marcia Jean Kurtz, Martin LaPlatney, Melissa Miller and Mark Setlock would comprise the cast of their new production, Heart of the City, a new play by Eric Lane, directed by Martha Banta.

13P (Thirteen Playwrights, Inc.), the OBIE Award-winning theater company made up of 13 playwrights, in association with Minetta Street Productions, will present the New York premiere of Sheila Callaghan's (P#7) 'CRAWL, FADE TO WHITE,' directed by Paul Willis. 'CRAWL. FADE TO WHITE' will be performed at the Ideal Glass Gallery (www.idealglass.org), 22 East 2nd Street (between Bowery and 2nd Avenue), with performances running from October 11 through November 1, 2008. The official opening night will be Monday, October 13 at 8:00 PM.
