Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre has announced the cast and creative team for their 'Hard Candy Christmas' holiday hoedown production of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. The award-winning musical comedy later adapted into the cult film starring Dolly Parton will play at Theo's Howard Street Theatre December 2, 2022 through January 29, 2023.

The Palace Theater is teaming up with Eleanor Management LLC to present ELEANOR'S VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS WISH - THE MUSICAL, a critical and commercial success in its 2019 Chicago World Premiere run, for streaming this holiday season.

Bringing a sprinkle of holiday magic to 2020, Eleanor’s Very Merry Christmas Wish - The Musical will be available for streaming beginning November 27. A critical and commercial success in its world premiere run in Chicago in December 2019, the musical is based on the heartfelt book of the same name by Chicagoan Denise McGowan Tracy.

Bringing a sprinkle of holiday magic to 2020, Eleanor Management announced today that Broadway & Beyond Theatricals will represent ELEANORa??S VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS WISH - THE MUSICAL, a critical and commercial success in Chicago in its world premiere run in December of 2019, for streaming this holiday season. 

The perfect holiday gift for children, or a new family tradition to start with loved ones, this virtual holiday theater experience will warm hearts and instill a sense of magical hope this holiday season.

Award-winning performers Robert Deason (dueling pianist extraordinaire) and Lauren Paris (most recently seen in a critically acclaimed performance as Percy in THE SPITFIRE GRILL, Refuge Theatre Project) are back with another round of Chi-Town Sings, after their sold-out performances of CHI-TOWN SINGS SARA BAREILLES and CHI-TOWN SINGS DEMI LOVATO. CHI-TOWN SINGS LADY GAGA will be performed at 8PM on March 4th at The Den Theatre. Previously, the series occupied the beloved 100 seat Haven Cabaret space, but have been upgraded to a 300 seat venue: The Heath. An anonymous producer has also signed on to the project.

Porchlight Music Theatre welcomed a sold out crowd at the 13th Annual Chicago Sings concert fundraiser; Chicago Sings The MGM Musicals, held Monday, Aug. 20 at 7 p.m., at Second City's UP Comedy Club, 230 W. North Ave, direction by Keely Vasquez, music direction by Porchlight Artistic Associate Beckie Menzie, stage management by Jake Allen Miller and sound design Robert Hornbostel. Monday's event was the company's most successful Chicago Sings to date. Sales from this one-night-only performance benefit Porchlight Music Theatre's youth educational and community outreach programming raising more than $54,000.
