HANNAH KAMINER releases new single and video for 'BROKE DOWN GIRL' from upcoming album HEAVY ON THE VINE. Kaminer returns with a live video rendition of “Broke Down Girl,” the second single from the forthcoming collection. The hauntingly atmospheric song balances melancholy with melody as its lyrics confront the hollowness of hook-up culture.

Laguna Playhouse will present the second show of its 2023-2024 season, THE RAINMAKER, written by N. Richard Nash and directed by Andrew Barnicle. 

JoBeth Williams (“Poltergeist,” “The Big Chill”) and Peter Strauss (“Rich Man, Poor Man,” “The Jericho Mile”) star in the romantic Love Among the Ruins, written by James G. Hirsch and Robert A. Papazian, from a film script by James Costigan. Love Among the Ruins is a Papazian Hirsch presentation  and is directed by Michael Arabian.

Using their voices, movements, and expressions, these actors weave together a poetic tapestry that is completely mesmerizing. The cast and creative team take the audience on a journey that is brand new to some yet all too familiar to many. It is an immensely moving and important work of art that illuminates hard truths.
