WaterTower Theatre will host its 2023 Gala, Le Fete Rouge et Violette, The Red and Purple Ball: Broadway Meets the Runway, on Saturday, March 4, 2023. The event will celebrate the return to the arts in grand fashion, and will honor Delynda Moravec, longtime WaterTower friend, contributor and employee, for whom the lobby at the WaterTower Theatre will be named.

This September, The Firehouse Theatre will present Elton John and Time Rice's AIDA, directed by Artistic Director, Derek Whitener. With book, original lyrics, and direction by Lee Breuer and original music, adapted lyrics, and music direction by Bob Telson, the iconic musical returns to New York City for the first time since 2004 to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the original production at the Brooklyn Academy of Music and to honor visionary director Lee Breuer for his lifetime of excellence and historic collaboration with The Public Theater.
