It’s Tracy Jones, and Tracy Jones, and Tracy Jones! In Island City Stage’s newest comedy production, Tracy Jones by Stephen Kaplan, the lonely eponymous character throws a party inviting every other woman with the same name to join her for chicken wings and beer!

Kevin Black, one of South Florida's best-known producer/director/choreographers, is once again collaborating with award-winning vocalist Mimi J to create a concert program that will appeal to audiences of all ages. The two have worked together several times developing shows that achieved great success - most notably On the Radio: Sounds of the 70s, which debuted at Stage Door Theatre in 2014, and eventually morphed into I Will Survive.  That show went on to play several other area venues.

Time Step, award-winning Director/Choreographer Kevin Black's newest creation, will have its World Premiere at Broward Stage Door Theatre on March 30th.  Black, along with Musical Director Ben Bagby have combined their talents to celebrate a unique American dance phenomenon. The production will run through May 6th.

Houston Grand Opera (HGO) announced today the winners of the 30th annual Eleanor McCollum Competition for Young Singers that took place at Stude Concert Hall at Rice University. For the second time, the Concert of Arias was streamed live on Facebook, as well as on YouTube for the first time. The livestream was hosted by award-winning soprano and HGO Studio alumna Tamara Wilson. The winners were announced during the second portion of the program.

Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller - not necessarily household names in today's pop music or theatrical worlds. But for decades - especially from the mid 1950's to the mid 1960's - Leiber and Stoller were one of America's most successful songwriting teams. Stage Door Theatre will honor this iconic duo when they present Smokey Joe's Caf - The Songs of Leiber and Stoller, a compendium of some of their greatest hits, in the popular Margate venue's intimate Theatre 2 from December 15th through January 14th.
