New York Stage and Film has successfully launched the “NYSAF 40 Campaign: The Foundation of American Storytelling” in honor of their 40th Anniversary in 2025. For nearly four decades, NYSAF has been an integral part of the arts in the U.S. and vital to the creation of thousands of new stories for the stage and screen.

CBS announced that the new drama series starring and executive produced by Justin Hartley, previously known as THE NEVER GAME, has been retitled TRACKER. “This Is Us” chronicles the Pearson family across the decades: from Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) as young parents in the 1980s to their kids, Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) searching for love in the present day along with Toby (Chris Sullivan) and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson).

The anniversary episode broke the single-show fundraising record, raising over $28,300 (including a $10,000 matching grant from the Frances Lear Foundation).  Now, after over 375 episodes, “Stars In The House” has raised over $751,842 for The Actors Fund & $200,000 for other charity organizations who have needed support throughout the pandemic.   

Thirtysomething aired on ABC from 1987 to 1991. It is about a group of baby boomers in their thirties who live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and how they handle the lifestyle that dominated American culture during the 1980s given their involvement in the early 1970s counterculture as young adults.

On March 16, 2020, Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley launched “Stars In The House” in response to what they knew would be an immediate need for funds in light of the Broadway shutdown.  Now, one year and over 375 episodes later, “Stars In The House” has raised over $715,000 for The Actors Fund & an additional $200,000 for other charity organizations.

Deadline reports that original 'thirtysomething' cast members Melanie Mayron and Polly Draper have joined the cast of the upcoming sequel series: 'thirtysomething(else).'
