Garden Grove is about to get a whole lot funnier with the integration of the critically acclaimed Troubadour Theatre Company's rendition of A Midsummer Saturday Night's Fever Dream in Shakespeare/Summerfest Orange County's 2014 season. This play-off of Shakespeare's classic comedy, directed by Matt Walker, tells this story of magic potions and foolish lovers through some of disco's greatest hits. The production includes a cast made up of acrobats, musicians, improvisers, and clowns, as well as a four piece band and an almost entirely improvised second act.

On Sunday August 22, petite dynamo Katherine Malak performed her cabaret Wishlist @ Sterling's Upstairs @ Vitello's to thundering ovations. Malak, who gives new meaning to the word dynamic, belted out a bevy of show tunes and quaint songs about the pangs of auditioning and being an actress.
