Before Breakfast by Thomas Pasatieri, will run from 7 - 10 September at 107 Projects, 107 Redfern St. It is premiering at Sydney Fringe 2022, as part of the inaugural LIMITLESS, a micro-festival that celebrates Deaf and Disabled artists.

To open their 50th Anniversary Season in Barboursville, Four County Players, in collaboration with Barboursville Vineyards, will present Shakespeare at the Ruins: As You Like It by Williams Shakespeare, directed by John Holdren, running July 15 through July 30 at the Historic Barboursville Ruins.

To close their 49th season in Barboursville, Four County Players will present It Shoulda Been You opening April 15th on the Mainstage. This production features a book and lyrics by Brian Hargrove and music and original concept by Barbara Anselmi. Corona Choreographic Chronicles: Dulce Capadocia & The Silayan Dance Company were the featured honorees for the first ever FilipinaFest planned to honor the late Sonia Capadocia, Silayan Dance Company Founder in celebration of National Women's History Month.  Earlier this year, plans were set to honor the creator of the Los Angeles-based Silayan Dance Company by her daughter Dulce, a choreographer trained in both Philippine traditions and American Modern Dance forms.  Silayan is the first Philippine-American dance company as well as the first culturally specific arts organization founded in Historic Filipinotown in Los Angeles, California.  Sonia, in addition to being an award winning director, teacher and civic leader was also a talented seamstress.    The Philippine Expressions Bookshop in San Pedro, California offered to create an installation of her personal collection of beautifully hand-sewn gowns and elaborate Silayan costumes.  This was to commemorate a series of book readings in celebration of National Women's History Month.  As word got out in the larger Philippine-American community,  it grew into an entire Festival - aligned to be the first 'Filipina-Fest' Los Angeles Festival.  First.  Ever.  Produced in partnership with FilAm Arts (the Association for the Advancement of Philippine-American Arts and Culture) and spearheaded by Giselle Tongi Walters, the event was to take place at Philippine Expressions in San Pedro at the end of March to recognize the important contributions of Filipina leaders who greatly contribute to the civic life of our great city.   Important women civic leaders and 'movers and shakers' in the community were chosen to participate and partake in an exciting live dance performance, fashion show and festival parade of the handmade garments.

The Milburn Stone Theatre at Cecil College is ready to present the longest running American show on Broadway, Chicago, for the first time in its twenty-eight-year history. Chicago was originally written as a play in 1926 by Chicago tribune courthouse reporter, Maurine Dallas Watkins. Chicago was famously turned into a Broadway musical by John Kander and Fred Ebb and directed and choregraphed by Bob Fosse. Chicago was the winner of the 1997 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical. The 2002 film adaptation went on to win six academy awards including “Best Supporting Actress” and “Best Picture.”

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE The Los Angeles Memorial/Tribute for Alan Johnson at The Performing Arts Center October 14, 2018 Alan Johnson was truly a man of many talents. On Sunday, October 14th, 2018, friends, all of whom are either dancers, choreographers, directors or actors, or all combined, that have had the honor to work with or befriend him, gathered at The Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, CA, owned by Joe Malone and Nanci Hammond Malone, two superb dancers/teachers that donated their facility for this event, to honor, reminisce and celebrate Alan's wondrous life and career.

Michael Trusnovec, 20-year veteran with the Paul Taylor Dance Company (PTDC) will retire from dancing with the Company in June 2019. His final performances will be during Orchestra of St. Luke's Bach Festival. Mr. Trusnovec will continue to serve as Associate Rehearsal Director through June.
