Rising Phoenix Repertory is pleased to announce the publication of the second issue of its theater literary magazine Caffe Cino, edited by Steve McMahon and Daniel Talbott. Charlotte Miller's RAISING JO Set to Open June 5th at Theatre Row

Charlotte Miller's Raising Jo will receive a workshop production June 5th-10th at the Studio Theater at Theater Row. Directed by Julie Kline, the cast will feature Sarah Jes Austell (Showtime's Sweetbitter ), Chris Bellant ( Loserville ), Charlotte Graham (ART's The Tempest ), Anna Holbrook (Daytime Emmy Winner, Another World ) and Steve Payne (Albee's Me, Myself & I ). Waldorf Entertainment and Yuriy Pavlish are producing.

Writers Announced for EXPECTING (THE WORST) at Rattlestick

The lineup of writers has been announced for 'Expecting (The Worst)', a night of new plays at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater on February 27th at 7pm. The night will feature new works written by Kara Lee Corthron ( AliceGraceAnon at New George's), Jessica Dickey (Steppenwolf's The Rembrandt ) , Brett C. Leonard ( The Long Red Road at The Goodman Theater) , Ren Santiago ( The Siblings Play at Cherry Lane) and Daniel Talbott ( Slipping at Rattlestick). Casting will be announced at a later date.

Franklin Stage Company is pleased to present actress and playwright Erin Layton in her searing solo show Magdalen, August 10 - 13, at Chapel Hall in Franklin, NY. The piece, written by Ms. Layton and developed and directed by Julie Kline, is a fictional exploration of the women and children who passed through the real-life Magdalene Laundries as slave laborers in twentieth century Ireland, and of the complicity of church and government officials in hiding their tragic stories.
