Oh, where to begin? This is the kind of show that reminds you that theatre is PLAY. And there’s simply too much genuine playfulness and joy happening over at A.D. Players for you to miss out on it. Whether you’re a diehard fan of THE SOUND OF MUSIC fan or it’s been a while since you indulged in it, I encourage you to make this show a priority during your summer trips to the theatre.

Julia Kay Laskowski and Patti Rabaza are back as Mavis and Myrtle in HUSBAND FIXIN 101. My first experience with the duo of comediennes was with their holiday themed rib-tickler and I simply couldn't wait to see what they had cooked up for HUSBAND FIXIN 101. The performance earned a lot of laughs and kept us entertained, but this show simply isn't as strong as I expected.

Starting tomorrow night, Theater LaB Houston is presenting the World Premiere production of HUSBAND FIXIN 101. Julia Kay Laskowski and Patti Rabaza have collaborated on the musical comedy, gifting audiences with a new Country Gravy and Other Obsessions adventure. Theater LaB Houston, known as Houston's premiere Off-Broadway Theater, is continuing its residency at Obsidian Art Space with with an exciting 2014 season. Noto in terra nostrana per aver affiancato i piu grandi registi del settore (da Saverio Marconi a Federico Bellone, da Mauro Simone a Christian Ginepro, da Fabrizio Angelini a Claudio Insegno) e per aver calcato le scene in spettacoli come PINOCCHIO (sbarcato gia a New York nel 2010) e ALICE NEL PAESE DELLE MERAVIGLIE, Eugenio si e di recente esibilto al Cafe101 regalando un'esilarante esibizione del brano To Excess del duo Kooman&Dimond - contenuto nel loro ultimo album OUT OF OUR HEADS - di cui vi proponiamo il video.

As the holiday season approaches, Gerald LaBita and the Houston Arts Scene are saying a fond farewell to Theater LaB Houston's venue on Alamo Street in the First Ward Arts District. Gerald LaBita and his team have performed over 120 Houston premieres in the 63 seat, 1600 square foot intimate performance space.
