The Waterfront Playhouse will kick off their 72nd Season with 'It Takes Two - An Evening of Duets'- a two night concert that will star over 25 of Key West's best performers. The Waterfront Playhouse, recently named The Best Professional Theater in Florida, by Florida Monthly Magazine, will kick off their 71st Season with 'Broadway - Let's Twist Again!' This gender-bending musical extravaganza will star over 30 of Key West's best performers. The show features guys doing numbers made famous by Broadway divas, and the gals reciprocating with songs made famous by Broadway dudes.

Florida Studio Theatre brings back the popular summer hit Always...Patsy Cline for a special two week limited engagement. Patsy Cline was the original cross-over sensation with her acclaimed hit 'Walkin' After Midnight' in 1957 (#2 on the Country Charts and #12 on the Pop Charts) and followed in the early 60s with 'I Fall to Pieces,' 'Crazy' and 'She's Got You.' These songs and 24 others will pay tribute to the one-of-a-kind Patsy Cline. Cline's rise to legendary stardom is told through personal letters shared with her best friend and biggest fan, Louise. From her performance at the Grand Ole Opry to her tragic death in 1963, Patsy Cline will 'always' have a place in country music and with music enthusiasts across multiple genres.

The Waterfront Playhouse presents 'Doubt, A Parable' by John Patrick Shanley. 'Doubt' is the most highly honored play in the last decade having been awarded the Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award for Best Play, as well as 24 major theater awards.

Kicking off the 2009 season is Edward Albee's Occupant, which examines the life of acclaimed American sculptor Louise Nevelson. Born into a Ukrainian Jewish family, Nevelson's family immigrated to America when she was a young child.
