Every once in a while, I let in a glimmer of doubt that New York is too scary and I don’t actually like it and I could never live there, but then I go back. I go back and I see all the friends I have out there and I remember how much I love it.

Musical multi-tasking talent Joshua Turchin is the standout in a show he hosted with fellow songwriters & singers. When others their age were struggling to write essays, these people had already written full-length musicals and songs that got them zillions of followers on TikTok, Instagram, Youtube, and you name it.

Next month, 54 BELOW will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

Birdland once again presented singer/songwriter Victoria Shaw, who returned to the stage with another one of her award-winning shows, “Under the Covers” on Monday, March 18. Victoria’s special guests were Peter Cincotti, Jim Brickman, Billy Stritch, Josh Turchin, Ruby Locknar, and Ava Locknar.

Joshua Turchin announces the release of 'Captain's Code,' a song from 'Ghost Ship: A New Musical.' The song will be available on all streaming platforms. 'Ghost Ship: A New Musical' is currently in development with plans for a private reading presentation. Turchin's previous work includes 'The Perfect Fit' and 'Avatar: The Last Musical (a Parody).'

Don't Tell Mama presents The Music of Alan Menken on Friday, February 2 at 7pm.
