Jonathan Wagner is an actor/musician based in NYC. He made his Broadway debut as the original understudy for “Dewey Finn” in School of Rock: The Musical, performing the role over 140 times.

Jonathan spent 15 years working at Chicago’s famed comedy theater, The Second City, as a teacher, composer, and music director for their Training Center and (two of their) Touring Companies.
He has also composed several musicals. Most recently, a musical adaptation of Ryan Andrews’ illustrated fairy tale, Sarah and the Seed with book-lyricist Juliet Mazer-Schmidt. The demo is currently available on YouTube.
