Gretna Theatre will present four Family Series productions this summer at Mt. Gretna Playhouse. Each event is at 11:00 am on a summer Saturday morning, and sure to be fun for the whole family! Three of four performances will feature the 2023 Acting Apprentice Class, including Kayla Bassoff, Gerson Malave, Cassie Molloy, Tyler Shadle, Jeremiah Rosado, and Olivia Whitner.

The series features Broadway stars Eden Espinosa (Wicked) as Rosa's Mother, Ali Stroker (Oklahoma!) as Daisy, Melissa van der Schyff (Bonnie and Clyde) as Jojo, James Monroe Iglehart (Aladdin) as Oliver, Mandy Gonzalez (Hamilton) as Mother Rose, Christopher Fitzgerald (Waitress) as Thistle, & George Salazar (Be More Chill) as Dad Hatter.

Geared to kids ages 2-7 and their families, each episode will feature two 11-minute stories about Alice's recipe adventures with her best pals—Fergie, a white rabbit; Hattie, her madcap friend; and Rosa, the Princess of Hearts.

Princess Elena's heroic journey to become queen culminates in an epic prime-time finale special of Disney's Emmy® and Imagen Award-winning series 'Elena of Avalor,' premiering SUNDAY, AUGUST 23 (7:00 p.m. EDT/PDT).

Princess Elena receives new magical powers and, keeping her focus on the future of Avalor, proves herself ready to become Queen—but must first face the ultimate test of courage and character—in the third season of the animated 'Elena of Avalor,' premiering MONDAY, OCT. 7 (12:30-1:00 p.m. EDT), on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW. The Emmy® and Imagen Award-winning series is inspired by diverse Latin cultures and folklore.

The Growing Stage, The Children's Theatre of New Jersey, located in the Historic Palace Theatre in Netcong presents the musical production of CURIOUS GEORGE: THE GOLDEN MEATBALL.  The show runs March 15th through 31st with performances Saturdays and Sundays at 4:00 PM and a special Opening Night Performance, March 15th at 7:30PM followed by a post-show reception.  Featuring Music by John Kavanaugh and Book & Lyrics by Jeremy Desmon, this production is directed by Danny Campos, TGS Theatre Artist and Audience Development Director with Musical Direction by Stephen Fox and Choreography by Jillian Petrie.

The response to Playhouse on Park's Young Audience Series show 'Curious George: The Golden Meatball Run' has been so positive that nearly all initial show dates have sold out! Due to the high demand, three additional shows have been scheduled for this feel-good musical, music by John Kavanaugh, book & lyrics by Jeremy Desmon. Emmy Award winner Craig Gerber, whose talent and leadership steered two Disney Junior series – 'Sofia the First' and 'Elena of Avalor' – to become critically acclaimed worldwide hits, has entered into an overall development deal at Disney Channels Worldwide.  Under a new agreement, he'll expand his work to create and produce animated and live-action series and movies for both Disney Channel and Disney Junior platforms around the world.

In the August 11th episode of Elena of Avalor, Elena helps Charoca learn an important lesson in honesty after he meets a female rock creature named Charica and tries to win her over. *Danielle Brooks ('Orange is the New Black') guest stars as Charica and Tituss Burgess ('Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt') returns as Charoca.

The prime time television movie event 'Elena of Avalor: Song of the Sirenas,' based on the Emmy® and Imagen Award-winning series featuring Disney's first princess inspired by diverse Latin cultures and folklore, will debut on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 (7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. EDT/PDT), on Disney Junior and the DisneyNOW app. The all-star guest voice cast for the special includes Gina Rodriguez, Edward James Olmos, Rita Moreno, Prince Royce and Rosario Dawson as sirenas, mysterious underwater creatures. Javier Muñoz (Broadway's 'Hamilton') also guest stars as Elena's cousin, Duke Cristobal.

CURIOUS GEORGE & THE GOLDEN MEATBALL tells the story of a monkey, his pal in yellow, and their adventures as they cook up a mean meatball in the Golden Meatball contest in Rome.
