On Monday night, January 20, 2014 BroadwayWorld.com kicked off our 10th anniversary celebration with a benefit for BC/EFA entitled BroadwayWorld.com Visits Oz. In celebration of Michael Urie's birthday, we bring you a special clip of his performance. A longtime friend to BroadwayWorld.com, during his sold-out run of BUYER & CELLAR, he made time to come to JOE'S PUB to be part of our 10th Anniversary. At the event, he performed a special piece, written by BUYER & CELLAR Playwright's Jonathan Tolins, entitled MY PASSION FOR OZ.

Broadway is abuzz with news about NBC's upcoming presentation of The Wiz, with Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige and original Dorothy Stephanie Mills all having just signed on to star. They aren't the only ones with love for The Wiz though. Monday night, for two astonishing SOLD OUT performances, Joe's Pub became the backdrop for BroadwayWorld.com's 10th Anniversary celebration. The show conceived by Robert Diamond and Richard Jay-Alexander boasted talent from Broadway and beyond.

Just last night, BroadwayWorld kicked off our 10th Anniversary concert series with not one, but two triumphant performances of BROADWAYWORLD.COM VISITS OZ at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater. The cast not only donated their time and talent to this amazing double-header event, but also took the time to sign posters for sale to raise additional funds for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. If you care to own one of these limited edition posters, stay tuned.

As rehearsals and plans are in full swing, for Monday night's sold out performances at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater of BROADWAYWORLD.COM VISITS OZ, Robert Diamond and BWW staffers want to do some 'shout outs'.

Today, tickets go on sale at 1pm for BroadwayWorld.com Visits Oz, our return to Joe's Pub at The Public Theater for a year long celebration of our site's 10th anniversary and Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.

It was theatre magic at its best: rain lightly came down on closing night as the entire cast of LES MISERABLES at The Muny belted out 'The Epilogue' one more time. The audience lept to their feet as the final notes hung in the air. All week long, The Muny experienced a complete standing ovation before the curtain call began, something that Muny goers said hasn't happened in at least 35 years. The cast of LES MISERABLES experienced the audience's appreciation all week long and their final performance was no exception.

The Muny's Music Director Kevin Stites sat down for an artists talk about putting together the theatre's highly anticipated production of LES MISERABLES, which opened on July 15 and ran through the 21st. Click below to hear what he had to say!

In honor of the Muny's sold out run of LES MISERABLES, which plays its final performance tonight in St. Louis, Enjolras (Bobby Conte Thorton) and always-game Valjean (Hugh Panaro) recorded their own version of the viral video mashup of Colm Wilkinson, and a goat. Yes a goat. Check both out below!
