Bristol Riverside Theatre (120 Radcliffe Street) kicks off its 35th Anniversary Season with the hilarious two-person musical murder myster Murder for Two, written by Joe Kinosian (Book and Music) and Kellen Blair (Book and Lyrics).

Last year, Sound designer Twi McCallum wrote a 'letter to the industry', expressing the 'grief from a designer's perspective of how we are often not included in this 'diversity' platform, as it is often limited to Black actors, writers, directors, and producers.' Today Twi has released an article to mark the first anniversary of that open letter. 

Today, the Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association (TSDCA) announced the sessions for the second week of the TSDCA Audio Drama/Podcast Summit, a multi-week event designed to give sound designers and composers the tools and methods that they need in order to successfully navigate this new and rapidly growing field.

Saint Michael's Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Chuck Tobin today announced the July 19 opening of the Off-Broadway hit Murder for Two at Saint Michael's Playhouse. Murder for Two features book and music by Joe Kinosian, book and lyrics by Kellen Blair and stars Noel Carey and Jeremiah Ginn, both from Murder for Two's national tour. Murder for Two creative team is led by director Jeremy Scott Lapp with choreography by Wendy Seyb, scenic design by John Paul Devlin, costume design by Andrea Lauer, lighting design Anthony Pellecchia, and sound design by Jill BC DuBoff.

Producers Jayson Raitt, Barbara Whitman, Steven Chaikelson and Second Stage Theatre announced today that Murder For Two original cast member Jeff Blumenkrantz will be returning to the hit musical comedy, reprising his role of 'The Suspects' beginning Monday, March 17, 2014. Blumenkrantz, fresh from the critically acclaimed production of Sweeney Todd at New York Philharmonic, is taking over for composer Joe Kinosian, who joined the cast on Monday, January 20, 2014. Blumenkrantz reunites with current star Brett Ryback in the original musical featuring book and music by Kinosian, book and lyrics by Kellen Blair and direction by Scott Schwartz. The New York production of Murder For Two began performances at New World Stages on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, officially opened on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 and recently extended to July 6, 2014.

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre presents Beyond Therapy, the hilarious comedy by Christopher Durang, the modern master of the outrageous and absurd (and recipient of the 2013 'Best Play' Tony Award for Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike).
