Drury Lane Theatre continues its 2023 season with a celebration of one of America’s great music icons in Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash. Featuring the music of Johnny Cash, Ring of Fire was created by Richard Maltby, Jr., conceived by William Meade, is adapted from the Broadway production by Richard Maltby, Jr., and Jason Edwards, orchestrations by Steven Bishop and Jeff Lisenby and additional arrangements by David Abbinanti.
The Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company will present a much-loved audience favorite, The Pirates of Penzance; or, The Slave of Duty, at the University of Chicago's Mandel Hall on March 13-15. These performances mark the Company's sixtieth season.

Citadel Theatre Company's November-December production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's musical JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT has been extended due to popular demand and will play an additional five performances, according to Citadel Artistic Director Scott Phelps. Originally scheduled to close on Sunday, December 23, the musical will now run through Sunday, December 30.

Cast and crew were announced today for Citadel Theatre Company's November-December production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's musical JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, according to founding Artistic Director Scott Phelps. The production will be directed by Robert D. Estrin, who most recently at Citadel directed the company's Jeff Award-nominated EXPLORERS CLUB and has also helmed the musicals A CHRISTMAS STORY, A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM and CABARET.
