2018 Hollywood Fringe Best Musical Nominee and 2021 Best Cabaret Nominee, Pamela Eberhardt, has arranged another musical experience for fringe audiences. In her cabaret, School for Love, a professor is going through a nasty divorce as three of her students find themselves in a love triangle.

Ruckus Rockwell and The Unknown Artists present the world premiere production of Wigfield at the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival in June. The new comedy will play nine performances at the Hudson Backstage Theatre - Sunday 6/9 at 7pm; Friday 6/21 at 8:30pm; Saturday 6/22 at 2pm & 6:30pm; Sunday 6/23 at 2pm; Friday 6/28 at 8:30pm; Saturday 6/29 at 2pm & 6:30pm; Sunday 6/30 at 2pm. Running time will be 75 minutes.

This was the company's 21st entry in a series of themed cabarets, and set a new attendance record. A LITTLE NEW MUSIC brought the house down on December 8th at Rockwell Table and Stage in LA with a landmark 10th showcase of fresh and exciting musical theater material. Special guest host John Tartaglia (Broadway's AVENUE Q and SHREK THE MUSICAL), brought his sparkling humor to this dynamic evening celebrating the next generation of musical theater artists. One of my very favorite Christmas stories of all time is A Christmas Memory by Truman Capote about his boyhood growing up with his eccentric cousin Sook Faulk. Geraldine Page played Sook in a 1966 telefilm, and it was later remade for television in the 80s with Patty Duke. It is the Page version that stays with me, having left a lasting impression of the woman, the era and its fierce impact on humanity. Playwright Duane Poole has fashioned a retelling of the story with music by Larry Grossman and lyrics by Carol Hall in a new musical version of A Christmas Memory, now onstage at the Sierra Madre Playhouse through December 27. On this intimate stage with the orchestra in full view behind the actors, the flavor of the original story is well preserved by Alison Eliel Kalmus' fine direction and with a terrific ensemble.

The Unknown Artists will present the Los Angeles professional premiere of 35 MM, a musical exhibition, by composer and lyricist Ryan Scott Oliver, at the Complex in Hollywood this coming February, 2016.
