Photo Flash: Bay Street Theater Raises Nearly $19K at Hurricane Relief Benefit Concert


Benefits by Bay Street has announced a successful Hurricane Relief Benefit Concert was held on Sunday, October 1 to raise funds for victims of recent hurricanes. The concert took place at Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts and was co-hosted and emceed by Southampton Town Supervisor, Jay Schneiderman and Bay StreetExecutive Director, Tracy Mitchell. Nearly $19,000 was raised from donations and matching gifts, as well as raffles and auction items from local businesses and artisans. Scroll down for photos!

Benefits by Bay Street has announced a Hurricane Relief Benefit Concert to raise funds for victims of all of the recent hurricanes.

Hurricane Relief Benefit Concert Comes to Bay Street Theater on 10/1


Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to present an upcoming benefit concert to raise funds for hurricane victims around the country. The benefit will take place at Bay Street Theater on Sunday, October 1 from 4-6pm, and emceed by Southampton Town Supervisor, Jay Schneiderman who is helping organize the event. Suggested donations for adults are $20 and $10 per child, but any amount will be accepted. Donations can be made at the box office only. The box office is open Tuesday Saturday, 11 am 5 pm, and Sunday Oct 1 from 2pm onward. Anyone not available to attend on October 1 may make a donation at the box office any time prior to that date.

Benefits by Bay Street presented TYPHOON RELIEF FOR THE PHILIPPINES night of bands on Sunday, November 24. The lineup of bands included LOLA, THE VANDETTAS, NANCY ATLAS, INDA EATON, HOODOO LOUNGERS, GENE CASEY, RICK DAVIES, ESCOLA de SAMBA BOOM and JOE DELIA and the THIEVES. The night of fundraising included a silent auction and was co-hosted by Suffolk County Legislator Jay Schneiderman and Bonnie Grice for WPPB. Bay Street Theatre Hosts TYPHOON RELIEF FOR THE PHILIPPINES Benefit Tonight


Bay Street Theatre announces TYPHOON RELIEF FOR THE PHILIPPINES, a fundraising night of bands tonight, November 24 beginning at 7 pm. Suggested donation $25, though any and all amounts are appreciated. All ticket proceeds will be distributed to the Red Cross to aid in helping the victims of the typhoon in the Philippines. Suffolk County Legislator Jay Schneiderman and WPPB radio host Bonnie Grice will co-host the evening. WPPB will broadcast with a live simulcast with a phone bank open for donations.

Benefits By Bay Street announces a night of bands entitled JUST FOR JAPAN on Thursday, April 7 beginning at 7:30 pm. $40 per person available at the door. All ticket proceeds will be distributed to the American Red Cross and Save The Children, to aid in helping the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. The evening will be hosted by Bonnie Grice of WPPB and Suffolk County Legislator Jay Schneiderman.
