The Brookfield Theatre of the Arts’ 3X3 Festival continues with August Wilson’s 'How I Learned What I Learned.' Following in the footsteps of Jay Presson Allen’s Tru, How I Learned What I Learned finds August Wilson- played by Jeramie Gladman- reflecting on his upbringing, his friends, and his career through a series of stories and events that shaped his life, his relationships, and his professional development. Jeramie's passion is infectious in this exploration of Wilson's life.

There is so much more to Theatre than just musicals and full-length plays. For a single actor in a solo show to stand on that stage and create a work of art by themselves is bold and can be just as thrilling as a 30-person dance ensemble. 'Tru' set the bar high for the rest of the Festival.

Si Litvinoff, the visionary producer whose foresight in cinema art led to perennial classics such as Stanley Kubrick's “A Clockwork Orange,” Nicolas Roeg's “Walkabout”, 'The Man Who Fell to Earth,' starring David Bowie, and more passed away peacefully on Monday, December 26, 2022, in Los Angeles, California. He was 93.    

Jamie Galen will perform the first act of Tru, Playwright Jay Presson Allen’s adaptation of the works of Truman Capote at Hollywood Fringe Festival 2022 at Three Clubs Stage Room (1123 N. Vine Street Hollywood) on Saturday, June 4th, 11th, 18th 25thand Sunday June 19th at 7:30 pm. Palm Beach Dramaworks has announced that multi Tony Award-winners Tony Walton, Fran Weissler, and Sheldon Harnick will appear live, onstage as part of its popular series, Dramalogue - Talking Theatre! This series of six programs, which explores all aspects of theatre in conversations with or about the industry's top professionals and master artists, will also feature presentations on Truman Capote and Tom Stoppard, and a roundtable discussion with three theatre critics.
