The Adderley School celebrates 30 years of empowering kids and spreading joy at Santa Barbara's Lobero Theatre on May 27th, where three generations of Adderley School alumni will unite onstage to pay homage to their alma matter and loving founder Janet Adderley. In this interview with Broadway World, Ms. Adderley opens up about her journey, her unique approach to teaching theatre, and the work her foundation is doing to open opportunities for under-resourced communities across the country.

Nat Adderley, Jr. to Perform at Parker Jazz Club

This Sunday, Oct. 17, renowned jazz musician Nat Adderley, Jr. will hit the stage at Parker Jazz Club (114 West Fourth St., Austin, Texas). Nat will appear in concert with his band and special guest Kenny Williams to benefit THE ADDERLEY FOUNDATION, which provides scholarships and financial assistance for underserved students.

The Adderly School Presents Two Special Performances Of MY NAME IS ALICE This Weekend

THE ADDERLEY SCHOOL, Austin's premier nonprofit for children's theater, is gearing up to present their first annual scholarship event featuring two performances of A, My Name is Alice by young women of THE ADDERLEY SCHOOL. The shows will take place at The Townsend (718 Congress Ave #100) this Friday, Feb. 1 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 2 at 4 p.m. Tickets sales will help THE ADDERLEY SCHOOL raise funds to support underserved children in the Austin community. Kathy Valentine is joined fellow ADDERLEY board member Beverly Dale and other event sponsors including Jamie Barshop, Forrest Preece, Linda Ball, as well as Kendra Scott and the Resendez Law Firm.
