City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs announces the grant recipients of the 2023/24 City of Los Angeles Independent Master Artist Project.

EXPO CHICAGO, the international exposition of contemporary & modern art, today announced the list of exhibitors for the tenth anniversary edition, April 13-16, 2023 at Navy Pier's Festival Hall (600 E. Grand Ave). Following the successful in-person return in 2022, EXPO CHICAGO's 10th anniversary edition will welcome more than 170 leading galleries representing 36 countries and 90 cities from around the world.

The Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) is pleased to announce the second cycle of Studio Views: Craft in the Expanded Field, a micro-residency/exhibition hybrid featuring alumni of MAD's Artist Studios Program. The Editions/Artists' Books Fair (E/AB)--New York's premier showcase for contemporary art publishers and dealers, presenting prints, multiples and artists' books-returns November 3rd - 6th to Chelsea's Waterfront Tunnel for its third edition under the direction of the Lower East Side Printshop. Timed to coincide with its sister fair the IFPDA's Print Fair during New York Print Week, this year E/AB Fair will showcase forty publishers from across the US, Europe, South Africa and Japan featuring new works by emerging, mid-career, and established artists in a variety of mediums from silkscreen and intaglio to cyanotype and archival pigment prints.

18th Street Arts Center proudly presents Artist Lab Resident Amir H. Fallah's Perfect Strangers Art & Performance Festival at Bergamot Station on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 1-4pm. This will be an afternoon-long series of art and music interventions. It features artists and musicians from throughout Los Angeles. Fallah often works with a diverse mix of local communities and groups. He collects materials from their private and public lives, transforming them into artworks. At Bergamot Station he has invited a cohort of LA-based artists including Carmen Argote, Abdul Mazid, Christopher Pate, Emily Silver, and Tanya Batura, with a musical lineup featuring Earth Like Planets, After the After, iKing!, and Caspar Sonnet.

Following the enormous success of its tenth anniversary in 2013, the eleventh annual PRELUDE festival will be curated by Chloe Bass, Jackie Sibblies Drury, Sarah Rose Leonard, Allison Lyman, and Frank Hentschker.
