 Dramatists Guild Foundation has announced that acclaimed, Award-winning playwrights David Henry Hwang and James Ijames join the Board of Directors to help shape and guide the organization’s mission to support theater writers at all stages of their careers.

Santa Cruz County Actors' Theatre was in full swing to return to live performances with the famed 8 Tens @ 8 Short Play Festival in January, when the fast spreading COVID-19 variant Omicron shut the production before it opened.

Santa Cruz County Actors’  Theatre returns to live performances after nearly two years of closure due to the pandemic. The 26th Annual 8 Tens @ 8 Short Play Festival opens January 14 and plays through February 6, at the Center Stage Theater in downtown Santa Cruz.

Shawn “Jay Z” Carter is set to debut his much anticipated first men's fragrance called Gold Jay Z. The scent will first launch at Barneys New York as part of his fashion collaboration with the store on November 20. The fragrance will then launch on Nov. 29, Black Friday, at Macy's, Sephora, Nordstrom, Dillard's, Belk, Bon-Ton and Ulta.
