With the 20th Annual Long Island International Film Expo wrapping Thursday Night after an amazing week that saw 168 short and feature-length films of every genre showcased, LIIFE presented its Closing Night Awards Ceremony at the historic Bellmore Movies where celebs from both Stage and Screen presented honors to those in the film industry for their hard work.

The Marvelous Wonderettes are back! The long-running Off-Broadway hit musical celebrated its opening night at New York's Theatre Row last night, April 28th. The show, featuring such classic fifties and sixties hits as 'Lollipop,' 'Dream Lover,' 'Stupid Cupid,' 'Son of a Preacher Man,' 'Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me,' and 'It's My Party,' stars Christina Bianco as Missy, Kathy Brier as Suzy, Jenna Leigh Green as Cindy Lou, and Sally Schwab as Betty Jean. Laura Woyasz also stars as the 'Wonderstudy'. Daytime television star Ilene Kristen will be featured in the staged reading of award-winning playwright Penny Jackson's AND I SAW HER tonight, March 10 at 7:30pm at Dixon Place. Directed by Presidential Scholar of the Arts, Shira-Lee Shalit, AND I SAW HER is being presented in Dixon Place's signature works-in-progress series. The reading is an Equity showcase.

The Gorges Motel, an evening of short plays by authors including Gretchen Cryer, will have its world premiere on Wednesday, October 7th, for a limited engagement of seven performances only - tonight, October 7th and October 8th, 9th 10th, 14th, 15th and 16th at TBG Theatre at The Barrow Group Studios (312 West 36th Street 3rd Floor). The production is directed by Five Time Emmy Award winner Chris Goutman.

Spirit Award Winner and Drama Desk Award Winner Doreen Montalvo (IN THE HEIGHTS, GIANT, FLASHDANCE) will be celebrating her birthday by hosting Cabaret Cares 9, a benefit for 'Help Is On The Way Today,' a not-for-profit organization assisting children and teens living with HIV/AIDS in both New York City and Africa. The Monday, Nov. 24 show will feature performances by her talented friends, whom she calls 'The Ladies Who Rock.'

NYC Brand Production's first scripted series, Tainted Dreams garners two Independent Series Award nominations for: 'Best Ensemble Cast' and 'Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama' for Alicia Minshew best known for her role as 'Erica Kane's' daughter, 'Kendall Hart' on All My Children. The Huntington's Disease Society of America ~ Greater New York Chapter (HDSA) hosts its seventh annual CURTAIN'S UP FOR A CURE: A Broadway Holiday Concert, a celebration of life featuring songs by Broadway's greatest songwriters as well as holiday favorites, today, December 9, 2013.

Primary Stages held their annual Gala last night, November 11, at The Edison Ballroom (240 W. 47th Street). The event honored Tony Award-winning playwright Christopher Durang and President of the General Counsel at Dramatists Play Service, Stephen Sultan. The evening featured performances by Rachel deBenedet (Catch Me If You Can, Addams Family), Alan Paul (Grease, Oliver!, Manhattan Transfer), Michele Ragusa (Urinetown, Ragtime, A Class Act, Adrift in Macao), and Alton F.
