American Repertory Theater of WNY will host a staged reading of Mark Humphrey's Artie Award winning play, 'Speed of Dark' on September 21st, 7:30 pm at the 545 Elmwood performance space.

SPEED OF DARK feature the acting talents Hugh Davis and Monish Bhattacharyya alongside Vincenzo McNeill and Quentin Gray. The narrative is based on four men who find themselves on the wrong end of being in a Sundown Town after dark. Showtimes are Thurs-Fri 7:30 pm and Sat 5:00 pm.

As summer decides on whether to stick around or not, American Repertory Theater of WNY will come out of the company's season hiatus with one of the first events of the 2017-18 season. August will feature a two-evening stage reading of Mark Humphrey's AN INQUIRY INTO THE FATE OF THE U.S.S. PEQUOD at the company's 330 Amherst location. The reading will feature Buffalo actor Stan Klimecko and the return on Jack Hunter as he will share his directorial eye with the project. .

American Repertory Theater of WNY continues an outstanding 2013-14 season with the production of Michael Gazzo's compelling story of Hope, Dope and Love entitled A HATFUL OF RAIN. This story of a military veteran struggles with morphine addiction and the fallout effects on his loved ones currently runs now to March 29th, Thursday-Saturday performances at 7:30 pm.
