In association with the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society (CCIS), Honens has launched Keys for Newcomers, a program providing Calgary newcomers with accessible music education for students and opportunities for piano teachers. Lessons begin in September.

'Change what you can. And enjoy the ride!' Spreading the importance of kindness, and powered by their 1,000 KIDS initiative, New York non-profit AhHa!Broadway's new outreach project closed out their world-premier with those words. But the story wasn't over yet.

Following a safe and successful return to live performances this fall, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra is launching an exciting lineup of in-person and virtual Winter Concerts starting in December and featuring popular holiday traditions, internationally acclaimed guest artists, world premieres of new works, unique community collaborations, and more.

Producer and multi-award-winning director and choreographer Marcus S. Daniel’s rendition has magically transformed this stage musical into a hilarious, provocative, and sometimes frighteningly heightened parody that is filled with deliciously unsavory archetypes and caricatures. 

On July 23, a group of two dozen children of diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds and abilities, ages 9-15, from New York's five boroughs, put on a show.

AhHa!Broadway, a local women-led nonprofit, has launched a noble initiative to provide at least 1,000 underserved kids with arts education and technology to access related programming.

Norman Rockwell Museum (NRM) reveals the first exhibition of its kind, Enchanted: A History of Fantasy Illustration. The show includes 100+ works of art created by more than 50 artists whose work spans over five centuries, and have never before been exhibited together.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a tuneful, clever, heartwarming, and hilarious tale of overachievers' angst chronicling the experience of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. The show which was nominated for and won several Tony Awards including Best Supporting Actor, and Best Book also features audience volunteers as spellers in the Spelling Bee.
