In 1995, at the request of New World Records, Terry wrote and recorded an all-original jazz album. The NRBQ founder/pianist invited friends Marshall Allen and other Sun Ra members, Roswell Rudd (Archie Shepp and Carla Bley), the rhythm section of Greg Cohen and Bobby Previte that he met working on Robert Altman's Short Cuts movie.

Brooklyn-born, Berlin-based songwriter Hans Bilger is excited to announce his debut solo albumMeridian, out September 5, 2019 via Good Child Music. To ring in the announcement, Hans has shared the album's first single 'Had It And Lost It'.

Verhaeghe plays a distraught pastor looking for his 'Virginia,' the girl that got away. 

On Wednesday, May 30th, at 7:30 pm the Austrian Cultural Forum New York presents Press Play Backwards. A collaboration between vocalist Lauren Kinsella and pianist Elias Stemeseder, Press Play Backwards is an opera for two improvisers. Twins - Viola and Sebastian - become separated when they are shipwrecked on a mythical island. Countess Olivia is falling in love with Viola (disguised as a boy), while Sebastian is falling in love with Olivia.
