Presented in collaboration with luxury brand Swarovski, with support from Max Mara, the event will be hosted by honorary co-chairs Debbie Allen, Agnes Gund and Sir Salman Rushdie, as well as gala co-chairs Sarah Arison and Thomas Wilhelm, and Gillian Hearst Simonds and Christian Simonds. The YoungArts New York Gala will be emceed by former Gossip Girl and The Knick actress Zuzanna Szadkowski (1997 Winner in Theater and U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts), and will feature an elegant reception and seated dinner by Restaurant Associates. On June 11th, New York City will host its very first annual The Other Festival at Spring Studios. Featuring an all female line-up, The Other Festival provides a space and platform for all women to listen, learn and share their experiences on what it means to face and overcome challenges in the modern working world, how they re-wrote the rules of a successful business, put new systems in place and continue to push boundaries for future generations.
