St. Louis Actors' Studio's The LaBute New Theater Festival returns to New York this year at the Davenport Theatre (354 West 45th Street, NYC).

The LaBute New Theater Festival is comprised of three premier one-acts by Tony Award nominated playwright Neil LaBute and will begin performances on January 10, and celebrate its press opening on January 14 and running through January 27. La MaMa continues its season-long celebration of the life and work of Sam Shepard with WEEKEND WITH SAM, two days of readings and excerpts from Sam Shepard's plays, prose and poetry, directed by Neil La Bute, Lois Weaver, Scott Wittman and Joel Zwick. WEEKEND WITH SAM will be held in The Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St.) February 3 4, 2018. All readings are free and open to the public, but not open for review by critics.

Jeffrey Horowitz, Theatre for a New Audience Founding Artistic Director, has just announced an extension of PERICLES through Sunday, April 10 at Polonsky Shakespeare Center, 262 Ashland Place, due to wide acclaim and box office demand. PERICLES by William Shakespeare, with music composed by Shaun Davey and directed by Trevor Nunn, features OBIE Award-winner Christian Camargo in the title role and leading a company of 22 actors.

Rehearsals recently began for Theatre for a New Audience's production of William Shakespeare's PERICLES directed by Trevor Nunn, featuring OBIE Award-winner Christian Camargo in the title role and leading a diverse company of 22 actors.
