TOSOS, New York's Oldest LGBT Theatre, Nominated for Four New York Innovative Theatre Awards


TOSOS (The Other Side of Silence) was nominated for four New York Innovative Theatre Awards at last night's nomination party at 42WESTny. Nominations include Outstanding Revival of a Play, and Outstanding Ensemble for Doric Wilson's Street Theater for its run at The Eagle NY. Kathleen Warnock's play The Further Adventures of… was nominated for Outstanding Short Script and Outstanding Ensemble. The Further Adventures of… opens this Friday, August 12, at the 20th Annual New York International Fringe Festival. The New York Innovative Theatre Awards will be awarded this fall in New York City.

TOSOS to Bring THE FURTHER ADVENTURES OF...to FringeNYC


TOSOS (The Other Side of Silence) is proud to present Kathleen Warnock's The Further Adventures of… as part of the 20th annual New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC). Playwright Kathleen Warnock's work has been produced in New York, London, Ireland and regionally. Recent productions include Julie Andrews is the Devil at the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival and Strivers in Astoria Stories at Astoria Performing Arts Center. Eric Chase, who directed last year's hit FringeNYC production of Possum Creek, directs. TOSOS's previous FringeNYC credits include the sold-out runs of And Sophie Comes Too in 2009 and The Secretaries in 2010.

THE FURTHER ADVENTURES OF... Set for FringeNYC


TOSOS (The Other Side of Silence) will present Kathleen Warnock's The Further Adventures of… as part of the 20th annual New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC).  Eric Chase directs the production which stars Tim Burke, Mark Finley and Jamie Heinlein. TOSOS previous FringeNYC credits include the sold-out runs of And Sophie Comes Too in 2009 and The Secretaries in 2010.

TOSOS to Present THE FURTHER ADVENTURES OF... and ADAM & EVA This Month


TOSOS (The Other Side of Silence), in association with Theater 167, presents two new plays, 'The Further Adventures of...' by Kathleen Warnock and 'Adam & Eva,' by Jack McMahon and Yasmin Zadeh, at The West End Theater at the Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew, for 6 performances from Nov. 16-25.

POSSUM CREEK Set for 2nd Annual Best Of The Fest


 Possum Creek, which previously played to packed houses (3 sold-out shows) and garnered rave reviews at the 2015 New York International Fringe Festival, will have a limited run at The 2nd Annual Best Of The Fest at The Celebration of Whimsy.

Richard Ploetz's VERSAILLES to Play Theater for the New City, 2/20-3/9


'Versailles' by Richard Ploetz is a dark and winding tale of a 28-year old single mother and 'party girl' fighting against desperate circumstances and dead-end relationships in a seedy North Florida community. Estranged from her family, her youth and beauty fading, she works as a pole dancer and tests her sexual powers on her boyfriend, her boss and her neighbors until a mysterious figure, Mr. Mason, appears, who may bring her deliverance or further entrap her. Her jagged story will be told February 20 to March 9 at Theater for the New City, 155 First Ave., presented by Nedworks Inc. Ian Streicher directs.

Horse Trade Theater Group will present the 8th Annual FRIGID New York Festival at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery) and UNDER St. Marks (94 St. Marks Place between 1st Avenue and Avenue A) February 19-March 9. Founded in 2007, FRIGID New York is an open and uncensored theatre festival that gives artists an opportunity to let their ingenuity thrive in a venue that values freedom of expression and artistic determination.
