The press night of Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning smash hit musical JERSEY BOYS, took place at the new multi-million pound reinstated Trafalgar Theatre on Tuesday 17 August. Guests included Judy Murray, Bruno Tonioli, Jessica Hynes, Gizzi Erskine and Myleene Klass.

EastEnders and Strictly Come Dancing star Emma Barton has been announced as a patron of the Kings Theatre and will be helping in the Theatre's regeneration efforts.

Presented by Stage Entertainment UK and Phil McIntyre Entertainment, Strictly Come Dancing Live opened at the Arena Birmingham last night, kicking off its UK tour following another hugely successful TV series.

The 2016 line up does nothing to disprove this.  The company, which is run by husband and wife team, former TV presenter Paul Hendy and Oxford graduate and former film production manager Emily Wood, will be presenting a festive banquet of seasonal shows across the country from then end of November 2016 to mid-January 2017.  The line up comprises Dick Whttington starring Stephen Mulhern (ITV's Catchphrase, Big Star Little Star) as Billy at The Marlowe in Canterbury, Peter Pan starring Emma Barton (Honey Mitchell - Eastenders) as Tinkerbell and Shaun Williamson(Barry Evans - Eastenders and himself in Extras) at The Hawth in Croydon, Sleeping Beauty at Lichfied Garrick Theatre starring Rebecca Keatley (CBeebies) as Fairy Moonbeam and the great dame himself Sam Rabone as Nurse Nellie, Snow White at The Lyceum Theatre Sheffield starring Wendi Peters (Coronation Street - Cilla Battersby- Brown) and Phil Gallagher(CBeebies - Mister Maker), Snow White at The Alban Arena St Albans starring Rita Simons(Eastenders - Roxy Mitchell) and Ian Kirkby (Dick & Dom In Da Bungalow), Cinderella at Theatre Severn Shrewsbury with panto favourite Brad Pitt and Peter Pan at the Octagon Theatre Yeovill starring supervillain Andrew Fettes as Captain Hook. 

Following a sell-out run at St. James Studio last month, musical revue Jerry's Girls will transfer to Jermyn Street Theatre for a limited three week run from Tuesday 12 to Sunday 31 May 2015, with a press night on Friday 15 May.

The National Theatre's production of One Man, Two Guvnors is currently on an extensive tour of the country. This version stars Gavin Spokes as Francis Henshall, the man caught between two guvnors, and he is ably supported by a cast of familiar faces, including three former EastEnders stars (Jasmyn Banks as Pauline, Shaun Williamson as Charlie and Emma Barton as Dolly).
