For the third consecutive year, Silkroad and New England Conservatory (NEC) are partnering to present the Global Musician Workshop (GMW) from August 6-12.

This Broadway Veteran performer will give us a look into the life and music of undoubtedly the greatest woman interpreter lyrics in the history of music, along side the best male, Frank Sinatra, with whom Ella recorded and performed with countless times.

New England Conservatory has announced their spring 2022 Season. Highlights include NEC Wind Ensemble and Choirs offer a 50th anniversary celebration of the Wind Ensemble by presenting Igor Stravinsky's 'Symphony of Psalms,' and the world premiere commission of Chris Brubeck's first wind ensemble piece, 'Fifty'.

Performed by the inventive young musicians of New England Conservatory's internationally renowned Contemporary Improvisation (CI) Department at NEC's iconic Jordan Hall, the event is produced by faculty members Anthony Coleman and Lautaro Mantilla. It will be streamed on Monday, November 30 at 7:30 p.m.

So much of the show really landed quite perfectly with the audience on the night and felt so hip and current, along with being toe-tappingly enjoyable, touching and funny it is a sincere wish that HELL ON EARTH can pull a BE MORE CHILL and find life beyond the YATC summer camp and concert stages.

THE CLINIC, a Eugene O'Neill National Playwrights Conference Semi-Finalist written by Will Brumley, will be staged in cities across the United States as part of a fundraising effort for awareness, attention, and access. In reaction to the recent abortion bans in Georgia and Alabama, Brumley put out a call on Facebook, offering the script free of royalty to anyone who wanted to put up a benefit reading, house party, or gathering. 'All you need are some tablets, a group of friends willing to donate to the Yellowhammer Fund, ACLU, the Center for Reproductive Rights or independent clinics in need.'
