Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, announces its finalized speaker line-up for the 23rd annual TCG National Conference in Dallas from tonight, June 6 to 8, 2013.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, announces its finalized speaker line-up for the 23rd annual TCG National Conference in Dallas from June 6 to 8, 2013. The line-up includes Ayad Akhtar, winner of the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and national theatre legend Adrian Hall. This convening will bring hundreds of theater practitioners together from around the world for plenary speakers, breakout sessions, workshops and performances; as well as a chance to explore the Dallas-Fort Worth theatre community.

Merrimack Repertory Theatre Hires New Executive Director


Merrimack Repertory Theatre Board President Debra Grossman announced today that the company had concluded a six month national search for MRT's new Executive Director and have engaged Elizabeth Kegley, currently Managing Director of Dallas' highly-regarded Kitchen Dog Theatre, to fill the position.

PTP Season Includes Plays by Barker and Minghella


The Potomac Theatre Project (PTP) will present its 21st repertory season (and its first in New York) that includes three of Anthony Minghella's early works in an evening entitled Politics of Passion: The Plays of Anthony Minghella, and Howard Barker's provocative No End of Blame -- the story of a political cartoonist whose pen is dipped in poison.
