The 2017 Children's Musical Theater Festival took place July 15-16 in New York City at The Baruch Performing Arts Center. The 7th Annual festival was presented by Broadway Workshop and Project Broadway. The 2017 festival productions included a new version of the Queen Musical - We Will Rock You, part of the catalog at Theatrical Rights Worldwide and a brand new musical Giants in the Sky part of Beat By Beat Press licensing. The 2016 festival productions included new one act student version of The Addams Family and Changing Minds. Both part of the catalog at Theatrical Rights Worldwide.

The Fifth Annual Dare to Go Beyond (D2GB) Children's Performing Arts Camp, hosted by R.Evolución Latina, will kick off Monday, July 16th, with a five-day curriculum taught by nearly three dozen Broadway and international artists.
Broadway Speaks OUT and Dixon Place presented 'Broadway Sings for Japan' on Monday March 28th at 7:30pm. This benefit concert for Japan earthquake and tsunami relief was be free admission with a $10 suggested donation to help out in the relief efforts. The concert helped raise over $1,000 for Japan clean water relief.
