To commemorate the occasion, the Paley Center will release a PaleyImpact program, A Salute to LGBTQ+ Pride Achievements in Television, featuring a conversation with Cynthia Nixon, Ilene Chaiken, Laverne Cox, Jason Collins, and Adam Rippon, moderated by ABC News's Gio Benitez.

More than 400 guests joined two dozen celebrities and dignitaries at the annual Point Honors gala on April 7, which celebrated the accomplishments of Point Foundation (Point) scholarship recipients. Dr. Neal Baer, the Executive Producer and Showrunner for acclaimed television programs such as 'ER' and 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' and 'Under The Dome,' received the Point Leadership Award, and Lena Dunham, the Golden Globe Winner and Emmy Nominated Actress and Producer of HBO's 'Girls,' accepted the Point Horizon Award.

Point Foundation (Point) will present its Horizon Award to Lena Dunham, the Golden Globe Winner and Emmy Nominated Actress and Producer of HBO's 'Girls.' The Point Horizon Award recognizes a young trailblazer who has taken a leadership role as an advocate of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community showing unwavering support.

GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, will honor the Emmy Award-winning hit ABC show, 'Modern Family,' at tomorrow night's Respect Awards - Los Angeles, Presented by Centropolis Entertainment at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Emmy winner Rob Reiner will present the show with the Inspiration Award, and America's favorite mom, Florence Henderson, currently appearing on 'Dancing with the Stars,' will be welcoming everyone to the gala. Also being honored are Out & Equal Workplace Advocates and the GLSEN Educator of the Year, presented by Sodexo.
