Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce that 3-play subscriptions for the 2020 Summer Mainstage Season are now on sale to buy or renew. Each subscription includes one ticket to each of the 3 Mainstage productions, and a special greatly reduced price for a 4th show during the summer season. Subscriptions are available for Tuesday through Sunday evenings as well as matiness and start at just $141 and go up depending upon day of the week. Subscription pricing is the least expensive way of seeing the Mainstage summer shows, except for students who can attend for free on Sunday matinees, and those under age 20 who can attend for $20, and those under age 30 who can pay just $30.

A family mourns the recent death of their beloved sister/daughter/wife/mother (and famous actress), Kathy.  This melancholy premise is a fitting frame for self-involved character reflections, but not for dramatic energy-especially because the manner of Kathy's death is totally unrelated to the characters's lives.

New Dramatists, Tony Honor® recipient and the nation's premiere playwright development workshop, honored 14-time Tony Award® winner Roger Berlind with their 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award at its 62nd Annual Spring Luncheon tribute, yesterday, May 17th at the New York Marriott Marquis. Philip J. Smith and Robert E. Wankel of The Shubert Organization served as the Luncheon Chairs. Jim Dale, Emily Mann and Brian Stokes Mitchell were among those paying tribute to Mr Berlind. George Street Playhouse has announced full casting for New Year's Eve a world premiere from the pen of ARTHUR LAURENTS. George Street Playhouse Artistic Director DAVID SAINT will direct a starry cast comprised of WALTER BELENKY, KEITH CARRADINE, PETER FRECHETTE, MARLO THOMAS and NATASHA GREGSON WAGNER. New Year's Eve marks the ninth collaboration between Saint and Laurents at the New Brunswick Playhouse, and the return engagement of Ms. Thomas, who starred in Elaine May's Roger is Dead last season.

George Street Playhouse begins 2009 with its production of Donald Marguiles' Sight Unseen. When first presented in 1992, the play won the OBIE Award for Best New American Play, was nominated for a Drama Desk, and was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. George Street Playhouse Artistic Director will helm the production, slated to run at the New Brunswick theatre January2020 - February 15, 2009. Matthew Arkin, last seen at GSP in their production of Theresa Rebeck's The Scene, leads an ensemble including Heidi Armbruster, Christopher Curry and Kathleen McNenny.

LECTURE, WITH CELLO, by ROBERT MOULTHROP, is a one-person drama with absurdist echoes; a skewed version of music history becomes the platform for an exploration of the conjunction of madness, violence & art.
