David Margulies was an accomplished actor with a career spanning over five decades. Born in Brooklyn in 1937, Margulies began his acting career in the 1960s, performing in off-Broadway productions before making his Broadway debut in the 1973 production of "The Iceman Cometh." He went on to appear in numerous Broadway productions throughout his career, including "Conversations with My Father," "Wonderful Town," and "Brighton Beach Memoirs."
Margulies was also a prolific film and television actor, appearing in a wide range of roles over the years. He had a recurring role on the hit television show "The Sopranos," playing Tony Soprano's lawyer, Neil Mink. He also appeared in films such as "Ghostbusters," "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective," and "The Thomas Crown Affair."
Despite his success in film and television, Margulies remained committed to the stage throughout his career. He continued to perform in off-Broadway productions and regional theater, and in 2009 he appeared in the Broadway production of "God of Carnage," which went on to win the Tony Award for Best Play.
