Milton Keynes Theatre have announced that TV judge and musical theatre star Craig Revel Horwood will lead this year’s panto as the dastardly Captain Hook in the strictly sensational pantomime adventure Peter Pan from 6 Dec 2024 to 5 Jan 2025.

Final casting has been revealed for the UK and Ireland Tour of The Wizard of Oz which begins rehearsals today. The new musical, based on the iconic story by L. Frank Baum, opens its UK and Ireland tour following a celebrated run at the world-famous London Palladium.

Strictly Come Dancing's longest-standing judge, Craig Revel Horwood, and RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner and Dancing on Ice finalist, The Vivienne will both play The Wicked Witch of the West in the upcoming tour of The Wizard of Oz. Based on Baz Luhrmann's iconic worldwide film phenomenon, Strictly Ballroom: The Musical is set to sweep audiences off their feet when the show arrives at the Theatre Royal Glasgow from Monday 5 to Saturday 10 June as part of a UK and Ireland tour.

Stage star, presenter and comedian Paul O'Grady has died at the age of 67. He died 'unexpectedly but peacefully' on Tuesday evening, his husband Andre Portasio said in a statement. 

Dancing on Ice finalist and Coronation Street star, Faye Brookes, joins the cast of Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom The Musical from 27 March, starring in the lead female role of Fran.
