See Andy Warhol's Marilyn before she's gone! Come again or for the first time to experience Guild Hall: An Adventure in the Arts at the Washington Pavilion's Visual Arts Center before the exhibit closes on March 5.

The Visual Arts Center in the Washington Pavilion is currently home to over 70 original works by more than 50 of the country's most celebrated artists including Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollock, Chuck Close, Willem de Kooning, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, Thomas Moran and more.

The Visual Arts Center in the Washington Pavilion will host the traveling exhibition entitled “Guild Hall: An Adventure in the Arts” this fall.

Added to the program will be the premiere of Posin's 'Postlude,' conceived when, according to Posin, 'the company gathered together to restage an earlier work, and late-stage pandemic ghosts came to haunt us in the Gene Frankel Theatre.'

Company member Daniel White will perform Touch Me by Gerald Arpino. Company members Claire Mazza and Alejandro Ulloa will present their duet Through You, and Posin will present an excerpt from her latest work Triple Sextet to Steve Reich's Pulitzer Prize-winning Double Sextet.  

The Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art at Pepperdine University will exhibit Hues of Isolation: Pepperdine Studio Arts Senior Thesis Exhibition 2021, a collaborative online exhibition this spring.

Guild Hall has announced the artists and events for its landmark 90th season which begins at the end of May and will feature author Salman Rushdie, American Ballet Theatre, Emmy-winners Susan Lucci & Joy Behar, 5-time Tony-winner Susan Stroman, Oscar & Tony-winner Mercedes Ruehl, and more.

Pepperdine University's Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art will present Rodin and Women: Muses, Sirens, Loversa?"Selections from the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Collections from Saturday, January 18, 2020 until Sunday, March 29, 2020. A special opening reception will be held Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 3a?"5 p.m. There is no admission charge and the public is invited to attend.

Pepperdine University's Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art will present Squeak Carnwath: How the Mind Works from Saturday, May 18, 2019 until Sunday, July 28, 2019. A special opening reception will be held Sunday, May 19 from 2-4 p.m.There is no admission charge and the public is invited to attend.

The Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art at Pepperdine University will exhibit Underperfection from Thursday, April 11 through Saturday, April 27, 2019. Underperfection will feature works by four artists who are graduating from Pepperdine's Seaver College with BA degrees in Studio Art. There will be an opening reception to meet the artists on Thursday, April 11 from 5-7 p.m. The student artists include Wesley Cha, McKenzie L. Cunningham, Tammy Hong, and Jane Yi. The exhibition and the opening reception are both free and open to the public.

Weisman Museum of Art will present Richard Diebenkorn: Beginnings, 1942-1955 from Saturday, January 12, 2019 until Sunday, March 31, 2019, the exhibition's only Southern California venue. A special opening reception will be held Sunday, January 13 from 2-4 p.m. There is no admission charge and the public is invited to attend.

The unique influence of Pop art will be explored in Pop! 50 Years of Art & Popular Culture from the Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation at Pepperdine University's Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art beginning Tuesday, August 28 until Sunday, December 2. A special opening reception will be held Sunday, September 9 from 2-4 p.m. There is no admission charge and the public is invited to attend.

Legendary Downtown New York artist Penny Arcade is now 50 years into a career in which she continues to turn a mirror back on society with highly original and entertaining investigations into the human condition that perhaps best described as cultural criticism you can dance to. She revives her international hit Bitch! Dyke! Faghag! Whore!: The Penny Arcade Sex and Censorship Show, May 11-19 at Performance Space New York, as part of the institution's East Village Series.

Weisman Museum of Art beginning Saturday, May 19 until Sunday, July 29. There will be a public reception to meet the artists on Thursday, April 12 from 5-8 p.m. The student artists include Reagen Brewster, Grant McCutchen, Iris Lee, Carissa Mosley, Peau Porotesano, Angelica Ramos, and Julia Solazzo.

The World Science Festival and Con Edison are pleased to announce that City of Science, the touring mini-metropolis of mind-expanding demonstrations and hands-on activities for families, comes to the Bronx on Sunday, March 11.

Alexis Smith's unique art exhibit Private Lives and Public Affairs comes to Pepperdine University's Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art beginning Saturday, January 20 until Sunday, April 1. A special Meet the Artist reception will be held Sunday, January 21 from 4-6 p.m.

Cuban-born artist Mar a Magdalena Campos-Pons addresses the unique and resilient nature of the Afro Cuban diaspora through photography, sculpture, performances, and video installations. Her West Coast debut and first exhibition with Gallery Wendi Norris, presents works ranging from 1990 to 2017, including three major installations, rare large-format Polaroid photographs, and a performance work.

The YIDDISH KING LEAR, written by Jacob Gordin (aka the Jewish Shakespeare), is without a doubt one of the most famous Yiddish plays of all time. Starring David Serero in the title role of King Lear, this unique play will be performed on January 30th and February 1st 2018 at 8pm at the Orensanz Foundation located in the heart of the Lower East Side, New York.
