The cast has been announced for two industry readings of Christmas Eve in Dikanka, a new musical with book, music and lyrics by Kit Goldstein Grant, adapted from the story by Ukrainian novelist Nikolai Gogol.

After a celebrated first season, IndieWorks Theatre Company has announced that 12-time award-winning mini-musical radio play series Bite-Sized Broadway is accepting second season submissions of new mini-musical works for four weeks beginning Monday, February 6 through Sunday, March 5, 2023. 

IndieWorks Theatre Company and Judith Manocherian will present two private staged reading presentations of the new family musical, The Bee-Man.

IndieWorks Theatre Company will present MTA: The Musical, the seventh audio drama featured on Bite-Sized Broadway. Peter Saxe, a New York City-based composer, lyricist, pianist, arranger, and vocal coach, wrote the book, music, and lyrics for this mini-musical with additional book work for this adaptation written by Christopher Michaels

IndieWorks Theatre Company today announced cast members from Broadway, West End, Television and digital media platforms will star in the company's new podcast, Bite-Sized Broadway: A Mini-Musical Podcast.

IndieWorks Theatre Company has announced the first season of its new podcast, Bite-Sized Broadway, a Mini-Musical Podcast. The first season features ten 50-minute episodes that showcase fully-produced, digitally-orchestrated 'mini-musicals' followed by in-depth conversations with our 18 writers from around the globe. Writers will have the opportunity to share about their process, careers, and current and upcoming works. The first episode will premiere on Monday, October 5, with new episodes on the first and third Monday of each month.

In the musical Barnum, a song lyric compels you to 'join the circus like you wanted to, when you were a kid.'  In the family friendly new musical The Giant Hoax, a young farm girl named Emily will do just that.  She's heard about the Cardiff Giant and wants to see the amazing wonder for herself.  Emily runs away from home and will learn some valuable lessons, meet an assortment of colorful characters and sing about 'Wonderful Things.'

Marking the 150th anniversary of 'the biggest hoax in history,' IndieWorks Theatre Company, Inc., in association with Visceral Entertainment, presents The Giant Hoax a new musical based upon the true(?) story of New York's famous Cardiff Giant, with book, music and lyrics by Kit Goldstein Grant, choreography by Molly Model, music direction by Jonathon Lynch and orchestrations by Mark Brymer. Christopher Michaels directs a cast of 13, including Paul Aguirre*, Mary Albert, Henry Fin Berry, Greg Carter*, Sarah Chiu, Yvette Monique Clark*, Jianzi Colón-Soto, Daniel Moser*, Robyne Parrish*, Kevin Riddagh, Staci Stout, Ben Tostado*, and Forest VanDyke*. Sixteen performances will be staged on a varying scheduling at Theatre Row's Theatre One (formerly The Lion Theatre) 410 West 42nd Street in New York City from November 19-December 7, 2019. The Giant Hoax is recommended for ages six and up.

In 2008, Reverend Vernon Jackson's Religious Broadcasting Network in Lynchburg Va. presented 'The Gay No More Telethon'. The goal: raise money to turn as many homosexuals as possible straight by the rapture or the 2014 Winter Olympics. Whichever came first. But now with the trump administration, the Supreme Court and the GOP looking to undo several advances made by the LGBTQ community since then, Reverend Jackson has seen the error of his ways and is touring the country to apologize.

An industry reading of new Comedic Horror Musical THE COMMUTERS (AND OTHER CAUTIONARY TALES OF TRANSIT) is to be presented as part of the Dramatic Guild's 'Friday Night Footlights Series' this Friday, February 22nd at 7:30pm.

With book, music and lyrics written by Kit Goldstein Grant, directedchoreographed by Michael Chase Gosselin and based on the novel by Robert Louis Stevenson and Lloyd Osbourne, The Wrong Box now celebrates its World Premiere at Theater for the New City as part of its Dream Up Festival. Grant and Gosselin now come together since having worked on Grant's The Nose, and their joint efforts truly show the magic to be found in this collaboration. Grant's plot of wayward characters who winner of the tontine, to wreaking havoc in the baggage area of a train on its way to the middle of nowhere and a random moment of drunkenness, The Wrong Box takes a complex plot and not only tests the audience's sense of humor, but also our ability to follow along. If understood completely, this is one hell of a crazy ride.
