Broadway In Chicago has announced Evan Rachel Wood (Thirteen, The Wrestler, Across the Universe) will join the cast of “FOR THE RECORD: DEAR JOHN HUGHES,” an immersive, concert event showcasing the works of beloved Chicago native John Hughes, at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut) the second week of performances March 12 – 15, 2015. Evan Rachel Wood will replace Rumer Willis who will play “Basket Case” in the first week of performances March 5 – 8, 2015. Willis will be returning to Los Angeles to prepare for her upcoming, just announced debut on Season 20 of ABC's “Dancing With The Stars.'

After a three-month sold-out run, the hit "For The Record" series will extend their critically-acclaimed evening inspired by the films of Baz Luhrmann at West Hollywood's DBA (www.dbahollywood.com) every Thursday - Sunday through December 30, 2014.

After a sold-out six month run, "For The Record: Tarantino" returns to West Hollywood for five Thursday night performances. In the previous run, the show attracted thousands of attendees, including director Quentin Tarantino, actors and singers like Bruce Willis, Aaron Paul, Barbra Streisand, James Brolin, Demi Moore, Dylan McDermott, Adam Lambert as well as network, studio and industry executives. The show will run every Thursday at 8:00 p.m thru Thursday, November 23 with tickets ranging from $35 - $55, and can be purchased at DBAHollywood.com.

For the Record: Baz Luhrmann in Concert is the brainchild of Christopher Lloyd Bratten (musical director) and Shane Scheel (producer) who have previously produced concerts incorporating the music from the films of the Coen Brothers and also John Hughes and Quentin Tarantino, among others. The Luhrmann show is on its third extension - now through January - and it is easy to see why. The entire Rockwell Table and Stage is converted into a grande theatrical experience like no other, with playing areas for the 9 singers/actors in the round...complete 360 degree surround, including playing areas at and around the bar. Elevated stages are used, so there is little or no problem seeing the performers except if you are seated directly behind a pillar, offering partial obstruction.

The space at 1714 N Vermont Ave no longer operates under three distinct names but instead the entire venue will be referred to as Rockwell: Table & Stage and includes a bi-level outdoor dining space as well as a newly remodeled live music performance space. While renovations will continue throughout the summer, "For The Record" co-creators Shane Scheel and Christopher Lloyd Bratten choose to present a show adapted from the works of multiple Academy Award-nominated Los Angeles director Paul Thomas Andersonfor a summer experience that Angelenos will not easily forget.
