Rose Theatre Kingston today announces cast for King John. Trevor Nunn returns to the Rose to direct Jamie Ballard as King John, Howard Charles as Philip the Bastard, Lisa Dillon as Constance and Maggie Steed as Queen Eleanor.

Propaganda Swing is a co-production between the Belgrade Theatre and Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company and is written by Peter Arnott. The writing is based upon a true story at the commencement of World War II in Berlin. Billy Constant, an American CBS journalist, narrates the proceedings and is heavily revolved around his love for German jazz singer, Lala Anderson. Lala is part of a jazz band whom are forced to conform to music approved by Hitler against their will.

The Belgrade Theatre is shining a spotlight on three rarely seen classics from the treasure chest of world drama with performances of A Lady of Little Sense, Don Gil of the Green Breeches and Punishment Without Revenge appearing in the B2 Auditorium between today 26 March and Saturday 19 April.
