 Bryan-Keyth Wilson, renowned playwright, and visionary, has announced the launch of the New Play Readers Group, a dynamic initiative dedicated to nurturing emerging playwrights and fostering groundbreaking new works.

Bryan-Keyth Wilson's highly anticipated new one-man play, 'ICON: An Evening with André Leon Talley,' prepares for its New York City workshop directed by Helen Hayes Award Nominated director DeMone Seraphin and starring Kenzi James in the title role.

The Creative Co-Lab, in partnership with The Downtown Urban Arts Festival, is proud to announce casting for the showcase production of sTrapped, a new play by Arelia Johnson & Award-winning playwright Bryan-Keyth Wilson. Wilson is set to direct the piece, which follows seven strangers as they navigate conversations surrounding race, intimacy, trauma, sex, and sexual identity. 

The DOWNTOWN URBAN ARTS FESTIVAL will present 16 plays (nine shorts and seven one-acts.) The festival kicks off on Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6 when Savion Glover and Reg E. Gaines (Bring in da Noise Bring in da Funk) make a much-anticipated return to The Public Theater with the centerpiece production If Trane Wuz Here.

After much recognition, including a festival finalist and selection for a prestigious showcase, For Colored Boyz on the verge of a nervous breakdown when freedom ain't enuff is making its World/ Regional Premiere. Written, directed, and choreographed by Bryan-Keyth Wilson, this choreopoem dives deep into the lived experience of five men of color and the challenges of a racist and oppressive society.

Main Street Theater will open its 47th Season with the regional premiere of Trouble in Mind by Alice Childress. The production opens Saturday night, September 17 at 7:30pm and runs through October 17.
