 Canadian Stage will present the Canadian premiere of the celebrated award-winner THE INHERITANCE: PARTS 1 & 2, running March 22 – April 14.

In February, Canadian Stage will present a virtuosic new work from the internationally acclaimed creators of MOUTHPIECE, Quote Unquote Collective. UNIVERSAL CHILD CARE runs February 13th – February 25th at the Berkeley Street Theatre. 

Preconceptions of neurodivergency are shattered in The Shadow Whose Prey The Hunter Becomes - on stage January 18th. Canadian Stage presents the 2022 Ibsen Award winning Back to Back Theatre in the new year.

This December, Canadian Stage will welcome - and be a co-commissioner of – internationally acclaimed performance company Kidd Pivot's highly anticipated new work ASSEMBLY HALL, on stage December 6 – 9 at the Bluma Appel Theatre.

Following a sold-out and critically acclaimed run of MIIGIS: UNDERWATER PANTHER in the 22.23 season, Red Sky Performance returns to Canadian Stage this November, with RED SKY AT NIGHT, on stage for four performances from November 3rd through 5th for an already SOLD-OUT run at the Berkeley Street Theatre.

Kicking off a sweeping and ambitious 23.24 season this fall, Canadian Stage has announced casting and production details for their Berkeley Street Theatre season opener, Suzan-Lori Parks’ Pulitzer Prize-winning TOPDOG/UNDERDOG, on stage at the Berkeley from September 22 – October 8.

This summer, Canadian Stage celebrates 40 magical years of Dream in High Park by bringing back one of Shakespeare's most beloved plays, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM.  The first play ever presented in the High Park amphitheatre in 1983, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM has long been associated with the time-held tradition of Shakespeare under the stars.

After its stunning sell-out NYC debut, Canadian Stage and Obsidian Theatre will mount the first Canadian production of Jackie Sibblies Drury's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama FAIRVIEW, on stage at the Berkeley Street Theatre March 4 – 26, 2023. (Media night: March 9)

In February, the CS Platforms series – designed to introduce audiences to some of the world's most vanguard artists - continues with Montréal artist Mélanie Demers' CABARET NOIR, co-presented with dance Immersion at the Berkeley Street Theatre February 9 – 11.

In February, theatrical innovative will take center stage at the Bluma with an exclusive engagement of the acclaimed Belgian company Ontroerend Goed's juggernaut international hit Are we not drawn onward to new erA, in a Toronto Premiere presentation February 9th – 11th.   

In the 22.23 season at the Berkeley Street Theatre in the new year, Canadian Stage presents the World Premiere of MIIGIS: UNDERWATER PANTHER, from Canada's leading contemporary Indigenous performance company, Red Sky Performance.  The fourth collaboration between the two organizations, MIIGIS: UNDERWATER PANTHER is onstage January 22 – 29. (Media night: January 24)

Toronto theatre audiences are getting a delightfully unexpected holiday present this year, as Canadian Stage welcomes internationally acclaimed and multi-award-winning puppeteer Ronnie Burkett and The Daisy Theatre gang to the Berkeley Street Theatre, for LITTLE DICKENS.
