An exultant and effervescent Red Bucket Follies returned after a four-year, pandemic-induced hiatus to celebrate six weeks of enthusiastic and dedicated fundraising. The star-studded variety show, performed December 4 and 5, 2023, honored 46 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies that participated in fall fundraising for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The theater community rallied together once again with spirited skits, dynamic dance and brilliant bonnets as Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS’ Easter Bonnet Competition returned April 24 and 25, 2023. The performances celebrated in-theater Red Bucket appeals that raised $3,601,355 for meals and medication, health care and hope for those who need them most.

TigerBear Productions will present the World Premiere of Prince Charming, You’re Late, written and performed by Billy Hipkins (The ALSO-RAN (For the BENEFIT of Miss JENNIE GOURLAY) and directed by Perry Dell’Aquila at Theatre Two at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street New York, NY 10036), June 29-July 23.

Emerging Artists Theatre has announced the line-up for the first week of their bi-annual New Work Series. The three-week festival runs March 21 to April 10 and showcases new musicals, dance pieces, solo shows and plays, in various stages of development. Over 50 productions will be presented.

 Irish Repertory Theatre announced today three Performance on Screen digital productions for their Summer 2021 season. Ghosting, by Anne O’Riordan and Jamie Beamish and directed for streaming by Jamie Beamish, will premiere on Tuesday June 22, 2021. The production, starring Anne O’Riordan, will run through Sunday July 4, 2021.

The company of Fun Home was runner-up for turning West Side Story's 'Gee Officer Krumpkee!' into a plea to Miranda to write a show for them. The 30th annual Easter Bonnet Competition, celebrating six weeks of fundraising by 58 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies, raised a record-shattering $5,528,568 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the largest grand total from either an Easter Bonnet Competition or Gypsy of the Year fundraising campaign in Broadway Cares history. The show featured a surprise performance by rock legend Stevie Nicks, two top awards to Lin-Manuel Miranda and the cast of Hamilton, and more than 230 of the best actors, singers and dancers in New York. Produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, this year's Easter Bonnet Competition (#BroadwayBonnets) was held at Broadway's Minskoff Theatre (200 West 45th Street), home to Disney's The Lion King. Featuring performances by more than 230 Broadway and Off-Broadway singers and dancers, the Broadway Inspirational Voices and a stellar lineup of Broadway favorites, this year's fundraising total was a whopping $5,528,568!

United Solo, the world's largest solo theatre festival, concluded its third annual season with a closing ceremony held on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Theatre ROW on 42nd Street in New York City.
