Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana celebrates its 35th anniversary season with a program of new works featuring the New York premiere of Mujeres Valientes by internationally renowned flamenco artist Belén Maya and dances by three up-and-coming choreographers from Spain: Emilio Ochando, José Maldonado, and Guadalupe Torres. Performances are May 15–20, 2018 (Tuesday through Saturday evening at 7:30pm, with matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm), at BAM Fisher, 321 Ashland Place, Brooklyn, NY.

The Ballet Flamenco de Andalucia concluded the festivities at the New York City Center, March 18 to 19 as part of the 2016 Flamenco Festival New York. In a program entitled Images: 20 Years, the company dedicated this performance to celebrating its two-decade history as an internationally beloved flamenco dance ambassador by revisiting five of their most celebrated works in its repertoire. The Mexican Museum announces a new exhibition that is sure to tantalize the culinary senses of museum visitors. Opening at The Mexican Museum on Friday, May 16, La Cocina: The Culinary Treasures of Rosa Covarrubias will feature vintage photographs and an extraordinary array of Rosa's personal ceramics and cooking utensils from "la cocina" - which means "kitchen" in Spanish. Dating to the mid-20th century, these objects come from Rosa and Miguel Covarrubias' immense collection of over 2,500 paintings, ceramics, folk art, and personal photos. This incredible collection was gifted to The Mexican Museum by Adriana and Tom Williams.

El próximo martes 31 de enero se celebrará el primero de los seis conciertos de la Orquesta y Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid (ORCAM). El Ciclo Canal de la ORCAM arranca con obras de Joaquín Rodrigo, Berstein, Ruíz Pipo y Gershwin, que incluirán un concierto sinfónico dirigido por Nacho de Paz y el guitarrista Jose María Gallardo de Rey, y se desarrollará hasta el 8 de mayo con un total de seis concietos: tres de coro a capella y tres sinfónicos.
