The masked mimics of MUMMENSCHANZ make their New Victory debut with RE:PLAY. Inspiring audiences across five continents for nearly five decades and three years on Broadway, the a?oeMusicians of Silencea?? will surprise you with each artful scene. A playful production of timeless vignettes, RE:PLAY comes to the New Victory Theater on November 15 and runs until December 1, 2019. 

The legendary Swiss entertainers,  Mummenschanz troupe brings to life their famous large-scale masks and revives a tradition of acrobatics in their newest program, entitled,  'You & me' for one performance at Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts, Sunday, March 11, at 4:00 PM.

Eisemann Center Presents Mummenschanz in their new show you & me on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 8:00 pm. Mummenschanz is a Swiss mask theater troupe who perform in a surreal mask- and prop-oriented style. Founded in 1972 by Bernie Schurch, Andres Bossard (August 9, 1944 - March 25, 1992), and the Italian-American Floriana Frassetto, the group became popular for its play with bizarre masks and forms, light and shadow, and their subtle choreography. The name Mummenschanz [?m?m?n??an?] is German for 'mummery,' or a play involving mummers. Mummer is an Early Modern English term for a mime artist.

For over four decades, Mummenschanz has been inspiring audiences around the world with their wordless but extremely poetic art. On February 11 at 3:00pm they bring their brand-new creation, you & me, to The Soraya.  This program was in collaboration with Tina Kronis and Richard Alger, created by founding member Floriana Frassetto.  This visually stunning spectacle celebrates the timeless love and mutual joy between the audience and performers.
