On Monday, January 9, Birdland once again hosted Justin "Squigs" Robertson as special guest artist-in-residence at Jim Caruso's Cast Party. Over twenty impromptu performers were delighted by the gift of an original "Squigs," swiftly drawn during their performance on the Birdland stage.

NiCori Studios and Productions in association with the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, Music at the Mansion, on Sunday, November 30, at 3pm. Performers include Amy Rivard, 4th Wall Theatre and Raissa Katona Bennett & Kenneth Gartman. In response to the devastating typhoon and its aftermath in the Philippines, producers Patty Onagan and Ronn Goswick have announced A Relief Benefit Concert for the Philippines at The Pasadena Playhouse, a one-night-only event on Wednesday, December 18 at 7:30pm. Proceeds will support the American Red Cross' Typhoon Appeal and its efforts to assist overseas as the people of the Philippines begin to recover and rebuild. Check out the photos below!

Last night, Broadway divas Chita Rivera, Charlotte d'Amboise, Linda Lavin, composer John Bucchino, the legendary Marilyn Maye, sax man Dave Koz, internet sensation Colleen Ballinger/Miranda Sings and West End leading man/Swedish pop star Peter Jöback were all seen cavorting, cheering and/or entertaining each other at Jim Caruso's Cast Party at Birdland.
