BETTY – the award-winning Indie Rock trio of sisters Elizabeth and Amy Ziff and their bestie, Alyson Palmer who have been creating addictively melodic music for almost 40 years – will release their new anthem “Pride” as a single on Friday, May 17.

BETTY has been making music for 38 years. BroadwayWorld got a taste of their world – the wildness, the women, the wow. Their show on February 14th was quite something at Joe's Pub, welcomed by cheering fans.

Jeff Breithaupt's legendary musical celebration of Canada Day ('New York Rocks the Canadian Songbook') at New York's Joe's Pub at the Public Theater returns on July 1 for a 20th-anniversary celebration of a tradition that has seen a glittering array of NYC-based musical talent rocking the Canadian songbook.

On Sunday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m., LA MAMA will host PAINT2POWER,  the making of a large public art mural  at the company's Galleria in Manhattan.  The public is invited to participate.  Admission is free.

Provincetown's Art House theater has announced a busy lineup of performances for P-Town's once quiet and now bustling a?oeoff-seasona?? fall and winter months. Slated to perform will be longtime venue favorites including Varla Jean Merman, Well-Strung, Melissa Ferrick, all-female rock band BETTY, Sirius XM star Christine Pedi, pop-classical vocalist & violinist Edmund Bagnell (of the group Well-Strung), and a Broadway @ The Art House debut performance by recent Tony winner Rachel Bay Jones with Seth Rudetsky as music director and host.

Producer Mark Cortale will present the long-anticipated Provincetown return of BETTY, the New York pop rock band, led by Alyson Palmer and sisters Elizabeth and Amy Ziff, for two shows only for Girl Splash, on July 26 and 27.

Jessie Mueller, Gavin Creel. Seth Rudetsky and more will head to Provincetown this summer!

Renowned choreographer Mark Dendy's (Lincoln Center's Out of Doors and The Met's The Magic Flute) work "We Are The Ones" will be performed Sunday, January 12 during the 11:15 AM worship celebration at Middle Collegiate Church.

The Art House in Provincetown will be in high gear again next month for Women's Week. Comedian Judy Gold returns by popular demand October 16 - 19. She is a Drama Desk and GLAAD Award winner for 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother, and host of TV's Mom's Night Out, Tru TV Presents World's Dumbest, has been a guest host of ABC's The View and frequent guest on The Joy Behar show. Joining her on the bill is another P-Town favorite, Folk-rocker Melissa Ferrick who returns October 17 - 19 at 7pm. She is a 6-time Boston Music and GLAMA winner and has shared stages with Bob Dylan, Weezer and Ani DiFranco. And - returning for the first time since 2011, is BETTY, from October 17 - 19. This cult-favorite all-female New York pop-rock band led by Alyson Palmer and sisters Elizabeth and Amy Ziff wrote and performed the theme song for Showtime TV's The L Word, and have been heard extensively on radio, TV, film, commercials and political rallies.
